Nic McLaren gets the PRIDE award this week for showing Excellence in "Lasting the Distance" in preparation for Cross Country.

Mathieson has been Daring to Dream when doing Jump Jam even with a broken arm so he gets our PRIDE award this week. Go Mathieson.

Indigo was this weeks PRIDE award recipient. She was chosen for always showing independence in the DPS Magic netball team. Congratulations Indigo.

This week for Art we made beautiful Mothers Day card for Mums, Step Mums, Grandmas and Aunties.

We wrote a description of our person and wrote it inside the card.

Next we used a template to draw around on a colourful magazine picture. Then we cut the shape out and folded the paper shapes in a fan fold from the pointed end. After that we tied a shiny gold ribbon around it and carefully stretched out the fold and curled the antenae. We had created a beautiful butterfly.

Lastly we glued the butterfly onto the card. We were delighted with the result and hope the chosen people enjoyed them.
